Dawn & Richard Stewart



The Stewarts are both graduates of Wittenberg University and long time Church Professionals.  They have both worked for agencies and congregations serving from the youngest to the oldest in church life.  They have lived in Ohio, the Virgin Islands and in the Metropolitan Philadelphia region in their lives of service.

Graduating with a Bachelor degree in Christian Education, Dawn has worked in Child Protection services, Day Care, and art education for young and old.  For nearly 20 years she directed Christian Education programs at a Lutheran congregation and at an urban Episcopal congregation.  Along the way she received certification as a Godly Play trainer through the Godly Play Foundation.  She continues to build awareness of the formation of all the people of God with her continued work with Adults and Children as she continues to ask the question, I Wonder....

Along with is BS in Sociology, Richard received

an MDIV from Hamma School of Theology, and

a DMin from the Lutheran Theological Seminary

at Philadelphia [LTSP].  Serving congregations

in Dayton, OH and Christiansted,  St. Croix,

he served Central State University as Campus

Pastor for 10 years. His last 23 years were spent teaching Evangelism, Stewardship, Communications-Medis Literacy, and Church Administration at the LTSP.  In addition he took courses in School of Communications at Temple University, and directed the Media Center at LTSP.  His service as Field Education Director led to his service as an interim pastor and congregational consultant in the Philadelphia area.
